The Mircom RAX-1048TZ is a programmable remote LED annunciator module designed to provide 48 points of visual indication for fire alarm systems. Each point features a bi-colored LED—typically red for alarm and amber for supervisory—that can be labeled using slide-in inserts for easy identification. The module connects to a main annunciator or control unit, such as the RAM-1032TZ, via a ribbon cable and occupies one display slot in BB-1000 or BB-5000 series enclosures. It’s ideal for expanding annunciation capacity in large buildings, allowing operators to monitor multiple zones from a single location.
