Description
The Winland WI-WBTX345 is a wireless WaterBug® flood sensor that operates on the 345 MHz frequency, making it compatible with systems like Honeywell, 2GIG, and certain Qolsys IQ Panels. It features a remote surface probe connected via a 6-foot cable, which detects water when a conductive bridge forms between its two metal prongs. To reduce false alarms, the probe is designed with contacts elevated above floor level, avoiding triggers from condensation or damp surfaces. The sensor requires two CR2032 batteries with an expected life of around 5 years, and it transmits signals for alarm, restore, tamper, and low battery conditions.
Features
- Water Detection: Triggers an alarm when water bridges the contacts on the remote probe—ideal for early leak detection.
- False Alarm Resistance: Probe contacts are elevated above floor level to avoid triggering from condensation or damp surfaces.
- Wireless Operation: Communicates on the 345 MHz frequency, compatible with systems like Honeywell, 2GIG, and some Qolsys IQ Panels.
- Signal Outputs: Sends alerts for alarm, restore, tamper, tamper restore, and low battery conditions.
- Long Battery Life: Powered by two CR2032 lithium batteries with an expected life of around 5 years.
- Wide Wireless Range: Up to 600 feet (open air) for flexible placement.
- Durable Design: Operates in temperatures from 32°F to 122°F (0°C to 50°C) and stores safely down to -40°F (-40°C).
- Flexible Mounting: Can be installed on walls or floors using included adhesive strips or screws.
- Compact Size: Transmitter measures approximately 2.5" x 1" x 0.5", with a 6-foot cable connecting to the probe.
