Description
The Viking LPR-1 is a compact, line-powered electronic ringer designed to amplify ring signals on analog telephone lines. It operates without an external power supply, drawing power directly from the phone line when a ring voltage of 40V AC at 20–30 Hz is present. The unit produces a nominal 3 kHz warble tone at up to 92 dB SPL @ 1 meter, making it ideal for noisy environments like warehouses or large offices. Installation is flexible, with screw terminals or an RJ-11 jack, and it includes a 7-foot modular cord and adjustable volume control. Its small footprint (3" × 4.4" × 1.4") and plug-and-play design make it a practical solution for enhancing audible ring alerts in analog phone systems.
