The Tekmar 072 Slab Sensor is a rugged, weather-resistant temperature sensor designed for use in outdoor snow melting systems. It features a 10kΩ NTC thermistor encased in a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) sleeve, allowing for direct burial in concrete, soil, or conduit. With an operating range of –60°F to 140°F (–51°C to 60°C), it provides accurate slab temperature readings to optimize system performance and energy efficiency. The sensor includes 20 feet (6 meters) of jacketed two-conductor cable for flexible installation and is CSA C US certified for safety and reliability in residential and commercial environments.
