The BBCU4 is a long-barrel copper compression splice manufactured by Penn-Union, designed for terminating or splicing 4 AWG copper conductors in grounding, bonding, and power distribution systems. It’s constructed from seamless, tin-plated copper, offering excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The splice features a barrel length of approximately 1.22 inches, a total length of 2.63 inches, and a wire strip length of 1-3/8 inches. It includes a generous chamfered entry for easy cable insertion and an inspection window to verify full conductor engagement.
