The Techspan BBCU2 is a long-barrel copper compression splice designed for 2 AWG copper conductors, commonly used in power distribution and grounding systems. It’s constructed from high-conductivity seamless copper tubing and tin-plated to resist corrosion. The splice features a barrel length of approximately 1.22 inches, a total length of 2.63 inches, and a wire strip length of 1-3/8 inches. It’s color-coded brown for easy identification and is compatible with dieless crimp tools like the TDM250 or TDM500.
