The Penn-Union L2A-600 is a dual-rated mechanical lug designed for secure termination of two copper or aluminum conductors ranging from 2 AWG to 600 kcmil. Constructed from high-strength aluminum alloy and electro-tin plated, it offers excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The lug features a one-hole straight tongue for easy mounting and is rated for 600 volts in 90°C environments. UL 486B and CSA certified, it’s ideal for power distribution and grounding applications in both residential and industrial settings. Use of an oxide inhibitor is recommended when terminating aluminum conductors to ensure long-term reliability.
