The Panduit PISR250-1 is a heavy-duty in-line mechanical splice connector from the Pan-Lug™ series, designed for step-up or step-down splicing in power distribution systems. It accommodates a wide conductor range—250 kcmil to 10 AWG on one side and 8–10 AWG on the other—making it ideal for joining dissimilar wire sizes. The connector features individual screw terminations and is fully insulated with clear plastisol, allowing visual confirmation of conductor insertion without the need for taping. It’s gel-filled with an oxide-inhibiting compound to prevent corrosion and ensure long-term reliability.
