The Mircom MH-S25RA is a compact, red silenceable mini-horn from the MH-25 Series, designed for fire alarm signaling in individual rooms, apartments, hotels, and offices. It operates on 24VDC filtered power and delivers a high sound output of up to 86 dBA at 10 feet, ensuring clear audibility in emergency situations. What sets this model apart is its “Silence” push button and red LED indicator, which allows temporary silencing of the horn for up to 10 minutes while still showing that the signal circuit remains active. The unit features polarized inputs for compatibility with reverse polarity supervision, mounts to a standard single-gang box, and supports both flush and surface installations.
