The Middle Atlantic U2V Utility Shelf is a 2RU (3.5" high) rack‑mounted shelf built from welded 16‑gauge steel, providing a strong and durable platform for AV, IT, and security components. It features a fully vented bottom and sides to promote efficient heat dissipation, helping equipment run cooler during continuous operation. The shelf offers a usable depth of approximately 15" and an overall depth of about 15.4", accommodating a wide range of devices up to 17⅜" wide. For secure equipment placement, the U2V includes three rear brackets that prevent components from sliding backward, and it supports optional clamping bars for added restraint. It is also compatible with the PD‑815SC‑PBSH 8‑outlet power strip, which can mount directly to the rear of the shelf for integrated power management.
