The Intermatic IOS-DSIMF-WH Residential In-Wall PIR Occupancy Sensor is an energy-efficient lighting control solution that enhances convenience and reduces power consumption. Using passive infrared (PIR) technology, it detects motion and automatically turns lights ON when a room is occupied, then OFF after a preset time delay ranging from 15 seconds to 30 minutes. The sensor features an adjustable PIR sensitivity, allowing users to fine-tune detection settings, and an ambient light sensor override, which prevents activation in well-lit conditions to further optimize energy use.
