This 200A 2 pole meter socket is rated up to 600V and is for use with underground services entrances only. It features a heavy duty, tamper proof, sliding latch that holds the cover in place. It is rated enclosure type 3 which means that it provides a degree of protection against the following. Accidental contact with live parts, falling dirt, dripping and light splashing of non-corrosive liquids, Circulating dust, lint, fibres, and flyings, Settling dust, lint, fibres, and flyings, rain, snow, and external formation of ice and wind-blown dust
