The Halo H27T recessed pot light is a non-IC rated, new-construction housing specifically engineered for shallow ceilings such as those built with 2x6 joists. It provides a compact solution without sacrificing performance, making it suitable for both residential and light commercial applications. The housing features Got Nail™ bar hangers for easy installation, Pass-N-Thru™ tool-less shortening of bar hangers, and Slide-N-Side™ wire traps that simplify wiring with non-metallic cables. A Quick Connect junction box is included for faster electrical hookup. The fixture is thermally protected to prevent overheating and is compatible with a wide variety of Halo 6-inch trims, allowing for multiple lighting effects. Constructed from durable steel, the H27T offers a 6-1/2 inch ceiling opening with a shallow profile (only 5-1/2 inches deep), making it an excellent choice where space is limited. It operates on 120V line voltage and supports incandescent or LED lamp options depending on the trim used.
