The FLIR VP50 is a rugged, waterproof, Non-Contact Voltage (NCV) Detector with a CAT IV-1000V Category rating. One of the features of this pocket-size detector is its powerful LED work light for illuminating dimly lit areas, along with a dual-LED convenience light at the probe tip for up-close work. Other useful features include vibration feedback alarms which are useful for voltage checks preformed in high-noise environments, and a dual sensitivity mode that enables users to detect 24V circuits.
