The First Alert SA520CNA is a hardwired photoelectric smoke alarm with wireless interconnectivity, designed to enhance fire safety in homes and offices. It can be interconnected with other First Alert and BRK wired detectors, as well as wirelessly linked with SA520, SA500, and SCO500 models. Powered by 120V AC, it also includes two AA battery backup to ensure continuous protection during power outages. The photoelectric smoke sensor minimizes false alarms from cooking and steam while providing reliable detection of slow, smoldering fires. Additional features include a mute button for nuisance alarms, an easy-access battery door for convenient maintenance, and a spread spectrum horn designed to be more audible for elderly individuals.
