Description
The ELK-RJSET is used to give an alarm system priority over telephones on the same line. When the ELK-RJSET is used, the phone line is sent to the alarm panel, then on to the building phones. When the jack is unplugged, it sends the phone line directly to the building phones, allowing the alarm panel to be disconnected for testing and maintenance, without impeding the operation of telephones on the same line.
The ELK-RJSET is for use with Alarm System Communicators, Line Fault devices, or other equipment as a means of connecting to the incoming telephone line. Includes USOC RJ31X 8 pin modular surface mount jack and 2 ft. 8 wire modular cord with plug on one end and spade terminals on the other.
