The YGHC2C2 is a copper compression C-tap connector designed for reliable grounding and bonding in electrical systems. Manufactured by Burndy as part of the Hyground® Hytap™ series, this connector features a figure-C shape that allows for secure tap connections between conductors. It accommodates wire sizes ranging from 6 AWG solid to 2 AWG stranded for both run and tap conductors, making it versatile for various installations. The connector is pre-filled with PENETROX™ compound to enhance conductivity and prevent corrosion, and it’s strip-sealed for added protection.
