The Burndy BIT2/0 is a clear insulated multi-tap connector from the UNITAP™ series, designed for quick and reliable electrical terminations in power distribution systems. It accommodates a wire range of 14 AWG to 2/0 AWG for both aluminum and copper conductors, making it a versatile choice for various applications. This two-port, single-sided connector features a clear plastisol insulation over an AL6061-T6 aluminum body, allowing visual confirmation of conductor insertion and eliminating the need for taping. With a 600 V rating, 90 °C temperature tolerance, and pre-installed oxide inhibitor, it ensures safe, corrosion-resistant performance in indoor environments.
